-2011 RE/MAX World Long
-Drive Championship

Obie Anderson has been competing in long drive for many years and is one of the nicest gentleman in the sport. Obie competes in the Legend division now which is over 60 years of age, builds his own clubs, and favors the new Aerotech Claymore 48'' MX60f5 shaft which he buys from me. This year Obie finished 3rd out of 23 competitors with a drive of 332 yards in the semi final round. Good job Obie.

Past long drive champion, Eric Jones hits in the over 50- super senior division and coming off a serious rotator cuff surgery, finished 8th this year in a field of 45. I build Eric's Geek drivers powered with that same Claymore shaft that Obie likes, but with a couple of tweaks to give Eric the feel and consistency that he likes. Eric is also a fine golf instructor and teaches out of the Pleasanton Golf Center.

14 year veteran Tomislav Kralj, has been a strong supporter of my club building and the Aerotech Claymore LD400 shaft. Tommy hits Krank heads in the senior division over 45 and this year finished 10th out of 64 competitors. Very strong field in seniors as always. Lonnie White finished one back of Tommy in seniors. I also build all of Lonnies clubs using Aldila long drive shafts. Lonnie is also Team Captain for Aldila.

I look forward to getting some of the young open division guys back next season as several did not compete this year for various reasons.

Chris Parkinson

I have worked with Chris and his golf clubs for the past 6 years at Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville Ca. Like a few other juniors seeking assistance in the past, Chris is very dedicated to practicing all parts of the game. He wants to be the best that he can and does it with great attitude and temperament. Chris is currently ranked nationally by the JGS ( Junior Golf Scoreboard ) as the 25th best player in the State of Ca. for his high school graduation year and nationally ranked 180th in the entire country for his grad year of 2014.
Chris tests the clubs that I build for him twice a year on the range- utilizing my launch monitor to make adjustments to fit his growing needs. I keep detailed records of the changes as we go and he is always eager to test new club combos to improve.
